^ That's outrageous - they should be providing refunds if there's no confirmed date !

This isn't "news", it's a claim made by Daniel S. Quarcoopome, the mafioso who's responsible for this whole mess in the first place (well, along with Prince, who can reasonably be blamed for working with him instead of relying on more established - and expensive - channels).

Unless Prince continues touring Europe after the Nice concert (highly unlikely if you ask me, but others may know more) I very much doubt this show will ever take place. So yes, I want my money back.

Yeah......so If there is another date....thats useless....1) cause there will be a penalty from the airline to change to a new date which I already paid to change from 12 to 23...2) In order for the ticket to be changed I need to know the date to change to by today in order to change before tomorrows flight other wise I loose the whole ticket.... SO thats not a solution....and why should I trust someone who postponed from the 12 to the 23rd....to postpone again and not cancel again in the end........Prince man.....get it together..... I can manage your business better than that.... and I am not a manager........sheesh at 52 you would think you would know how to handle these business deals more properly....or Do you not care at all about your fans.....who cares if they lost money on airlines hotel, work etc.... thats not very considerate....Shame....real shame.....

There's a statement coming from Prince's organisation - give them a few more hours.

Exactly!!!! Unless hes trying to put a mini-concert last minute and trying to get the last details together.....then it shouldn't take you that long to make a statement...Like Sorry.... I will do my best to make it up to my loyal fans who have gone through great lengths to be here in Geneva for the concert....The party will be at "*****" and I am looking forward to seeing you there.........pfffftttt............Who am I kidding??????

A statement from Prince's tour organisers

Prince's tour organisers regret to inform his fans in Switzerland that his concert at Geneva's Stade de Geneve tomorrow night (Friday 23rd July) has been cancelled. Due to apparent difficulties between the promoter and the venue Prince has been informed he is now not able to perform.
Prince is disappointed for all his fans in Switzerland who were due to travel to Geneva. Having played to a phenomenal audience at the Montreux Jazz Festival last year, he was very much looking forward to performing in Geneva.

Those due to attend the concert should hold on to their tickets for now and will be informed in a few days how to apply for reimbursement.

Prince's tour continues at the Espace Nikaia in Nice on Sunday night.
