Praying they will move location and do SOMETHING so at least the die hards will get 2 see them - we know Shelby (and i assume the rest of the NPG) are in Geneva already soooooooooo......

Gav - dont suppose you have any more info from P's camp? Stange that they said only last night it was DEFINATLY on and the gear was on its way to Geneva if nothings gonna happen!

I guess the band wasn t aware of the cancellation...Well, who know if the band will do anything in geneva this friday...perhaps just go to geneva.

and the phone-number seems invalid!? and there is no info about cancellation on their website!?

Just spoke to Resaplus..

They said although they have no information at present they have no reason the believe the concernt will not go ahead. However i was put thorugh to someone else who said they think it maybe postponed but cant confirm yet.

So we know little more after speaking to them than we did before!

(Ps if anyone hasnt recieved tickets yet and are worried dont panic, if they gig does go ahead the tickets can reproduced at teh gig by the box office as long as u have ur order ID)

^It seems they did, indeed. But so far failed to put up a notice on their site the show is canceled.

Edit: (12:30): And although on line ticket sales seems to be halted for the moment, the page still reads "Billets disponibles dans les points de vente" (Tickets available at points of purchase)

Edit: (13:00): Message on resaplus site now changed to "Aucun billet disponible pour le moment" (No tickets available at the moment). Eventim.de also halted ticket sales as of 13:00.

^It's about time they put that information on their site, already. (rather than just announcing tickets aren't available at the moment). And how about where people can get a refund?

Yeah super bad! Refunds will be on the websites for self printed tix, and we who received by post will have to send them back and get refund that way! Just lost E 450.00 for flight, hotel and train to Nice uncancable for me with no return, shiit! + new airticket straight to NICE, hmm!

What a disaster for the organizers... Seems as P had nothing to do with it, but you all know how media will put it: "Prince with a last minute cancellation!" Too bad, both for P and for the fans.. Hope that they will just set up the gear in an empty warehouse and make a rehearsal session with audience!

OK, so I've spoken to a few people and now have a better picture.

It seems that there's been a dispute between the two promoters and, as a result, the venue was not secured. This has left the gear almost in Geneva, Prince with nowhere to play, five days of downtime , and a whole heap of pissed off and out of pocket fans - not good.

As Mister T said, P didn't have anything to do with the cancellation, however pissed off and out of pocket fans is pissed off and out of pocket fans - everyone will get blamed I'm sure.
